Family-owned and rooted in the community, Conicelli has been serving drivers throughout the Philadelphia area for generations.
A Family Business Built in Conshohocken
The Conicelli Family and Team proudly carries forward a legacy that began with Dominic “Dom” L. Conicelli — a visionary businessman, devoted family man and respected community leader.
Born and raised in Conshohocken, PA, Dom graduated from Villanova University in 1954 and began his career with General Motors before launching his own business. In 1957, he opened Hy-Speed Auto Sales, which evolved into Carriage Trade Auto Auction in 1963.
In 1982, Dom opened the first Conicelli dealership. What began as a single location has since grown into Conicelli Autoplex, representing Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai and Genesis.
Dom passed away in 2018, but his legacy lives on through the business he built, the family that continues to lead it and the values he instilled.
Our History
From a local auto business to a family of dealerships and automotive services, Conicelli's roots have always remained close to home.
Where It All Began
Dom Conicelli opened Hy-Speed Auto Sales, beginning the family business that would eventually become Conicelli Autoplex.
Carriage Trade Auto Auction
Hy-Speed Auto Sales evolved into Carriage Trade Auto Auction, continuing the family's growing presence in the automotive industry.
The First Conicelli Dealership
The first dealership bearing the Conicelli name opened, beginning the next chapter of the family business.
A Nice Place to Do Business
More than a slogan, it's the philosophy that has guided Conicelli for generations. Dom was affectionately known as “Mr. Nice Guy” — a name that lives on through our dealership mascot and our commitment to treating customers the way we'd want to be treated.
